SWIMMERS WIN STAKES: 

  • With Anticipation, 2nd to High Chaparral in Breeders Cup Turf this year

  • Flat Top, trained by Janet Elliot, won the Breeders Cup Steeplechase and the Colonial Cup Steeplechase this fall.

  • With Anticipation, a swimmer at our facility, won the $500,000, G1 Sword Dancer Invitational, at Saratoga on Saturday August 11th, 2001, registering a front-running, three-quarter length victory over King Cugat a 9-5 favorite.

  • Another swimmer hits the stakes win column. Owner/Breeder Mede Cahaba Stable and Trainer Lilith Boucher win 2 stakes races this summer, the Brookmeade and the Oakey S. at Colonial Downs with CLASS YANKEE.
